MOSCOW, Jan 22 Russian grandmasters Sergey Karyakin and Andrey Esipenko finished their games of the seventh round at a tournament in the Dutch city of Wijk aan Zee. Esipenko played with white against the American Sam Shankland, Karjakin played with black against the Swede Nils Grandelius. Norwegian Magnus Carlsen, the holder of the world chess crown, turned out to be stronger than Indian Rameshbabu Pragnanandhi with black. Russian Daniil Dubov refused to play in a mask and received a forfeit defeat in the game against Anish Giri from the Netherlands.
