MOSCOW, Jan 23 Russian chess player Andrey Esipenko lost his eighth round game at tournament in Wijk aan Zee (Netherlands). Esipenko played with white pieces, the game ended after the 49th move. Russian Daniil Dubov played with white pieces with Pole Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Sergey Karjakin also played with white pieces with Hungarian Richard Rapport. Norwegian Magnus Carlsen, the holder of the world chess crown, played a draw with American Sam Shankland as black. Carlsen and Azerbaijani Shakhriyar Mamedyarov are leading in the tournament table (5.5 points each). Esipenko and Karjakin have 4 points each, Dubov has 3.
