Halep lost to Cornet and ended the fight at the Australian Open

MOSCOW, Jan 24 Romanian tennis player Simona Halep lost to Frenchwoman Aliza Cornet in the fourth round of the season's first Grand Slam tournament — the Australian Open (Australian Open). Halep was the 14th seed at the Australian Open. The Frenchwoman reached the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in her career.
