The Yangulbaevs said that Ramzan Kadyrov connected the sons of the judge — blogger Ibragim Yangulbaev and former lawyer of the «Committee against Torture» Abubakar — in the conduct of public and telegram channel 1ADAT, where they criticized the Chechen authorities. According to them, they were abducted and tortured twice, in 2015 and 2017, because of this.
On January 21, the “Committee against Torture” sent an urgent complaint to the ECtHR, demanding interim measures under the 39th rules of procedure of the court before the decision is made.
