MOSCOW, Jan 23 IHF Hall of Fame expected ( IIHF) Pavel Bure will replace Vladislav Tretyak as president of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RHF) in the coming months, a source familiar with the situation said. Bure was elected to the IIHF board in September 2021. Tretyak has been in charge of the FHR since 2006. «Vladislav Tretyak is expected to leave his post this spring. And the result of the Olympics does not matter here. Tretyak has already been announced at the highest level that this is his last term in office. If it does not happen in the coming months nothing extraordinary, then the post of head of the FHR will be taken by Pavel Bure. The latter has already actively joined the work, having become a member of the IIHF Council in September, «an agency source said. Earlier, KHL President Alexei Morozov said in an interview with Sport that Bure has sufficient experience and authority to to head the Russian Ice Hockey Federation.
