MOSCOW, Jan 24 Sibir has extended the contract with team captain striker Yevgeny Chesalin, according to the website of the Novosibirsk club. The new player agreement with the club will be valid until April 30, 2023. Chesalin has been playing for Sibir since 2019, during which time he played 155 matches, in which he scored 15 goals and made 24 assists. Sibir is in sixth place in the standings of the Eastern Conference of the Continental Hockey League (KHL), gaining 57 points and 50 games.
