President of the Yekaterinburg football club «Ural» Grigory Ivanov said that he does not support the law on the introduction of the Fan ID system, which will enter into force on June 1. On Monday, the Spartak fan association Fratria announced a boycott of games by all red-white groups in connection with the introduction of the Fan ID system. Fan associations of Zenit and Rostov also announced the boycott. “I will not comment on the decision of the fans. The issue of Fan ID is decided at the state level, so why ask me? I can only say again that I am against the introduction of this system,” said Ivanov.Fan ID is a system for identifying football fans, designed to provide spectators with a comfortable passage to the stadium. Previously, the system was used at the 2017 Confederation Cup, the 2018 World Cup, as well as at the Russian matches of the European Championship in 2021.
