The Frunzensky District Court of Saratov satisfied the suit of the prosecutor's office and banned the clip «Two Girls» on the YouTube channel of the singer Alena Shvets. This is reported by Kommersant with reference to the regional prosecutor's office and the leader «Men's State» Vladislav Pozdnyakov.
As Mediazona was told in the press service of the court, the decision on the lawsuit to ban information promoting “non-traditional” same-sex sexual relations was made on December 7, 2021, and in January 2022 it entered into force. Roskomnadzor also added a link to the clip to the register of prohibited information. The clip itself remains available on YouTube.

Pozdnyakov wrote that the prosecutor's office asked him to check Shvets' clip «subscribers». In November, the department sent them a response stating: “The district prosecutor's office has considered your request for posting information on the website that promotes non-traditional sexual relations. It has been established that the arguments set forth in the appeal have been confirmed.”
Also in November 2021, Roskomnadzor asked the prosecutor's office to check the singer's work on her YouTube channel for calls for suicide. Then the check was initiated by Tatyana Zagorodnyaya, Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Saratov Region. This happened after an 11-year-old girl from the regional center fell out of the window, and Shvets' songs were found on her VKontakte page, RIA Novosti wrote.
