The Moscow Garrison Military Court sentenced six former members of the FSB special forces, as well as two other defendants in the case, to terms of 8 to 10 years in prison for attacking businessman Alexander Yumaranov in the Metallurg Bank building in south-west Moscow and stealing 136 .5 million rubles. Interfax reports this.

- ex-employee of the «K» department of the FSB Economic Security Service Alexander Karelin — 8 years in a strict regime colony
- ex-employee of the «Alfa» department of the Center for Special appointment of the FSB Roman Obolensky — 9 years old
- ex-employee of the Alfa department Vladimir Urusov — 8 years old
- ex-employee of the Vympel department of the Central Security Service of the FSB Dmitry Kapyshkin — 9 years old
- ex-employee of Alfa Khetag Margiev — 8.5 years old,
- ex-employee of department «K» Artur Vlasov — 10 years old,
- ex-employee of the Federal Tax Service service Dmitry Chivkin — 8 years,
- ex-assistant investigator of the transport Investigative Committee Dmitry Kazantsev — 9.5 years.
The court also recovered more than 81 million rubles from the convicts in favor of entrepreneur Alexander Yumaranov, from whom they stole money. The 15 million rubles seized from them will also be returned to the victim in the case. Chivkin and Kazantsev were fined 300,000 rubles each.
The prosecution requested for the defendants in the case from 8 to 12 years in prison. The state prosecutor also asked to recover 97 million rubles from them in favor of Yumaranov.
