MOSCOW, 25 Jan. The Kremlin considers it necessary to have a dialogue with fan associations on Fan ID in order to understand the reasons for their irreconcilable reaction, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters. «, you need to understand why such a reaction is quite irreconcilable, maybe it's just that the members of these associations do not understand some nuances. It is necessary to explain. In any case, this must be done through dialogue. And representatives of these associations, too, probably, before taking such irreconcilable positions, you must first go somewhere for clarification,» Peskov said. On Monday, the Spartak fan association Fratria announced a boycott of games by all Red-White factions in connection with the introduction of the Fan ID system. Fan associations of Zenit and Rostov also announced a boycott. Fan ID is a system for identifying football fans, designed to provide spectators with a comfortable passage to the stadium. Previously, the system was used at the 2017 Confederation Cup, the 2018 World Cup, as well as at the Russian matches of the European Championship in 2021.
