Such obligations will also apply to hosting providers, operators of advertising systems and organizers of the dissemination of information on the Internet. The document provides that in case of violation of the requirements, access to a foreign Internet resource may be partially limited or the resource may be completely blocked. Among the milder measures are informing users about the violation, a ban on the distribution of advertising by a foreign entity or its Internet resource, a ban on the distribution of advertising on the resource itself, limiting money transfers and accepting payments from Russian individuals and legal entities, a ban on search results, collection and cross-border transfer of personal data.
