MOSCOW, Jan 25 Russian grandmaster Sergey Karjakin defeated Indian Rameshbabu Pragnanandha in the ninth round of the tournament in Wijk aan Zee (Netherlands). Karjakin played with black pieces, the game ended after the 53rd move.
