MOSCOW, Jan 26 Norwegian skiers Heidi Veng and Anne Kjersti Kalvo received positive test results for coronavirus, NRK reports with reference to the Norwegian Ski Association. Previously, the athletes were included in the Norwegian women's ski team for the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, which will start on February 4. On Wednesday, the team was due to leave Italy for Norway before flying to China on Thursday. The program of the skiing competitions will open with the skiathlon on February 5. «The situation is terribly sad for us as a team. Today we will have to move. Most of the athletes will check into another hotel. Some have stayed here. It is clear that not a single athlete will go to the Olympics tomorrow at the scheduled time. Everyone those infected will be isolated and we will be intensively monitoring the infection over the next few days to see if we find more infections,» said national team doctor Øystein Andersen.
