After arriving in Belarus, the Su-35S crews will go on combat duty as part of a test of the functioning of the unified air defense system of the Union State. Fighter flight routes take into account the possibilities of maximum non-stop flight, as well as weather conditions along the entire route. The test of the Union State response forces will take place in two stages. At the first stage, until February 9, they will relocate and create in the shortest possible time a grouping of troops on the territory of Belarus, as well as organize the protection and defense of important state and military facilities, the air border, and check the readiness of the air defense forces on duty. At the second stage, from February 10 to February 20, joint exercises «Union Resolve-2022″, within which issues of suppressing and repelling external aggression, as well as countering terrorism and protecting the interests of the Union State will be worked out. Practical actions will take place at the Domanovsky, Gozhsky, Obuz-Lesnovsky, Brestsky and Osipovichsky training grounds.
