The skater and coach announced his hospitalization on his Instagram. In a video message, Plushenko said that everything was fine with him and thanked the medical workers. “Everything is fine. Yevgeny has an exacerbation of a duodenal ulcer. They took him straight from the arena yesterday with an attack. In the evening they promised to release him for outpatient treatment,” Rudkovskaya said.
