MOSCOW, Jan 27 Russian national team substitutes Evgenia Burtasova and Alexander Povarnitsyn received accreditation to participate in the Winter Olympics in Beijing, reports the head of the press service of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Sergey Averyanov in the Telegram channel. Earlier, commentator Dmitry Guberniev said in Telegram that Burtasova and Povarnitsyn do not have Olympic accreditations. Averyanov published a photo with the documents received by the athletes. Later, Guberniev said that Victoria Slivko, who is not among the substitutes for the Russian national team, also received accreditation. Burtasova, Anastasia Shevchenko, Povarnitsyn and Anton Babikov are on the list of substitutes for the Russian biathlon team. On Thursday it became known that the first test of the coach of the Russian national team Sergei Bashkirov, upon arrival in Beijing, tested positive for coronavirus. Before leaving for the Chinese capital, the coronavirus was found in the head of the service group, Alexander Pechersky.
