MOSCOW, January 27 Zenit St. Petersburg players laid flowers at the memorial to the victims blockade of Leningrad and honored their memory with a minute of silence, according to the website of the «blue-white-blue». It is noted that the delegation was headed by forward Artem Dzyuba. Athletes gathered at the memorial at 14 Nevsky Prospekt, near the commemorative plaque «Citizens! This side of the street is most dangerous during shelling.» Such inscriptions were put on the walls of buildings during the blockade and restored in the 1960s and 1970s as a tribute to the victims. The blockade of Leningrad was lifted on January 27, 1944, it lasted 872 days.
