According to the police of the Dnepropetrovsk region, today, January 27, at about 3:40 am, a serviceman of the National Guards opened fire with automatic weapons. As a result, four servicemen and one civilian woman died on the spot. Another five people were injured and taken to hospital. The shooter with an automatic weapon fled the scene.
“It has now been established that this is a soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine, born in 2001, from the Odessa region,” the message says.
A special police operation has been introduced in Dnepropetrovsk and neighboring regions. All police services are involved in the search for the suspect.
Representatives of the SBI and the military prosecutor's office will investigate the circumstances of the tragedy.
Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the name of the wanted man: soldier Ryabchuk Artemy Igorevich.
