The Beijing Olympic Games will be held on February 4-20, the Paralympic Games on March 4-13. The upcoming Games are notable for the fact that the competitions will be held in three clusters at once — Beijing (hockey, figure skating, speed skating, curling), Zhangjiakou (biathlon, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ski jumping) and Yanqing (alpine skiing, bobsleigh, skeleton and luge sport). Accordingly, there are also three Olympic villages at the Winter Olympics in China. The villages switched to the so-called “bubble” mode of operation from mid-January, at first thousands of volunteers, technical and service personnel entered there, and from January 23, delegations from abroad began to arrive in small groups .All villages and competition venues are included in the so-called «closed loop», organized due to the pandemic, from which it is impossible to leave. Therefore, everything necessary for living, training and recreation of athletes is available inside each village. You can move between villages and Olympic venues on specialized buses along a dedicated Olympic lane, and there is also a high-speed train between Beijing and Zhangjiakou. The Beijing Olympic Village is located in the southern part of the Olympic Park in the north of the Chinese capital, which is a legacy of the 2008 Summer Olympics. The village is located on an area of 386 thousand square meters, it consists of three functional areas intended for housing, training and recreation, there are shops, cafes, ATMs on the territory. The basis of the village is 20 buildings, in which more than 2.2 thousand rooms have been prepared for the Games.
