MOSCOW, Jan 27 Beijing has tested positive for coronavirus, Sergei Averyanov, head of the press service of the Russian Biathlon Union, said on his Telegram channel. The plane with the Russian delegation, which included part of the biathlon team, arrived in China on Thursday. Averyanov attached a screenshot with the news of a positive test result to his post. «We just talked to Sergey Bashkirov, he is in isolation in Beijing. We are waiting for the result of the second test,» Averyanov wrote. Earlier on Thursday, it became known that the head of the service group of the Biathlon Union Russian Alexander Pechersky was unable to fly to Beijing due to coronavirus infection.
