MOSCOW, Jan 27 The South Korean team defeated the Lebanese team in the match of the seventh round the third stage of qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Group A meeting, held in Saida, ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the guests. Cho Kyu Sun (46th minute) scored among the winners. The South Korean team scored 17 points and climbed to first place in the group table. At the same time, the Iranian team, lagging behind by one point, has a game in hand. The Lebanese national team is in fourth position with five points. In the next round, the South Korean team will play away with the Syrians on February 1, while the Lebanese national team will host Iraqi footballers.
