MOSCOW, 27 Jan. UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman said in an interview with GQ magazine that he plans to win another title of the organization. The Nigerian athlete said that he does not want to hold a championship fight against compatriot Israel Adesanya. Therefore, he admits that he can move up to light heavyweight. «I decided that I could win against Jan Blachowicz (the Polish athlete at that time held the UFC light heavyweight title). I am the first number in the ranking, regardless of the weight category. I want to prove that I can fight in any division,” Usman said in an interview with GQ. The 34-year-old athlete last entered the octagon on November 6. The Nigerian defeated American Colby Covington by unanimous decision. Usman is undefeated in the UFC. He holds the longest winning streak in UFC welterweight history (15 wins).
