MOSCOW, Jan 29 Norwegian skier Ragnil Haga will replace compatriot Anna Kjersti Kalvo in part of the national team at the Beijing Olympics, Nettavisen reports with reference to the Norwegian Ski Association. Earlier it became known that skiers Kalvo and Heidi Weng received positive test results for coronavirus. Later, the infection was detected in the Norwegian Simen Hegstad Kruger. Also at the training camp in Italy, the coach of the Norwegian cross-country skiing team, Arild Monsen, became infected with COVID-19. “Of course, Kalvo was upset. But Haga is the best option for a replacement, Ragnil can perform well,” Nettavisen quotes Norwegian national team coach Ole Morten Iversen.
