MOSCOW, Jan 30 Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Islam Mammadov lost American Benson Henderson at the 273rd numbered Bellator tournament in Phoenix (USA). The lightweight bout lasted all three rounds and ended in favor of Henderson (separate decision of the judges). This defeat was the second in his career for 31-year-old Mammadov with 20 wins and one draw. The record of the former champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Henderson is 29 wins and 11 losses. Earlier, in the tournament prelims, Russian Nikita Mikhailov (8-1) was stronger than US representative Bain Schutt (technical knockout in the third round). The main event of Bellator 273 will be a duel between American heavyweight champion Ryan Bader and temporary belt holder Russian Valentin Moldavsky.
