From February 2022, amendments will come into force that give debtors relief in enforcement proceedings with monetary claims, lawyer Elena Kuderko told the Prime agency. The essence of the innovations is that debtors will be guaranteed a conditional minimum of funds every month. The balance will be equal to the subsistence minimum for the socio-demographic group to which the debtor belongs. withheld up to half of all debtor's income to pay off obligations and up to 70% of income on maintenance debts. The amount remaining in the hands of the debtor after the write-off was not standardized, and the priority of the legislator was precisely the repayment of the debt, the lawyer concluded.
