MOSCOW, February 3 Fifty-five cases of coronavirus infection were detected per day among participants of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, according to the website of the organizing committee of the competition. In total, 753 people arrived in China for the Games on February 2, 325 of them are athletes and team representatives. According to the results of PCR testing at the airport, 29 cases of infection were detected, 13 among athletes and team members, 16 among people involved in the Games. Also, 26 people who are already in the «bubble» received positive test results per day. 13 of them are athletes and team representatives, 13 are people involved in the Olympics. The Winter Olympic Games will be held in Beijing from 4 to 20 February. All participants in the Olympiad will live and compete in a «bubble» without the opportunity to enter the city and intersect with the local population.
