MOSCOW, February 2 Biathlete of the Russian national team Evgenia Burtasova is on the plane for departure to Beijing to participate in the Olympic Games, the Telegram channel of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) reported. Viktor Maygurov said that the athlete would arrive in Beijing on the morning of February 3. Burtasova would replace Valeria Vasnetsova in the Olympic team, who passed two positive tests for coronavirus in Beijing and was forced to quarantine. From January 26 to 30, Burtasova took part in the European Championship in Arber, Germany, where she won two gold medals — in the individual race and the single mixed relay with Anton Babikov.
