The Nalchik City Court has extended the house arrest of blogger Inse Oguz (Insa Lander) for two months on charges of assisting terrorist activities. Her friend Sonya Grese told Mediazone about this.

The case of assistance to terrorist activities (Part 1 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code) against a blogger became known in December 2021. At the same time, Oguz was included in the list of extremists and terrorists of Rosfinmonitoring — now she can withdraw only 10 thousand rubles a month from her account for herself and for each family member without independent income.
Mediazona told in detail that the case is based on the correspondence of Oguz in VKontakte in 2014. The investigation believes that the girl recruited Umar Duguzhev, whom she met on the Internet, to ISIS, recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia. The young man testified against her.
In Case file it is also said that almost 1,500 screenshots of their correspondence were printed out, in which the expert found justification for violent actions and Oguz’s desire to “involve Duguzhev in the activities of terrorist organizations that were not specified in the correspondence.”
