MOSCOW, Feb. 3 Famous Chinese actor Jackie Chan took part in the torch relay at the XXIV Olympic Winter Games and carried the torch along the Great Wall of China, Beijing Daily reported. He carried the Olympic flame along the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, Badaling. According to Jackie Chan, becoming a torchbearer for the second time is a great honor for him. The actor took part in the torch relay at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He noted that despite the 10-degree cold on the Great Wall of China, his heart warms at the sight of the joyful faces of athletes, journalists and volunteers welcoming the relay participants. «Chinese civilization has existed for 5 thousand years, not many states have such a long history. I hope that thanks to the Olympics we will be able to show the world our culture, even more people will begin to understand China,» Jackie Chan told reporters.
