The Vasileostrovskiy District Court of St. Petersburg sent traffic police inspector Alexander Kolesnikov under house arrest. This was reported by the press service of the courts of the city.
Kolesnikov was placed under house arrest until April 1 in the case of abuse of office (paragraph «c» of part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code).
The reason for the case was the conflict of the policeman with the operative of the criminal investigation department Alena Yudina, caught on video. Kolesnikov detained the girl along with his colleague Dmitry Perenyuk on the night of February 1.
Yudina, after a skirmish, pushed the policeman in the chest and tried to leave the duty unit. Then Kolesnikov pushed her in response, from which the operative hit her back and head against the wall. Then the traffic inspector knocked 24-year-old Yudina to the floor and put his hands behind her back, breaking the detainee's left humerus.
The head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, demanded to report on the circumstances of the conflict between the policemen. After that, it became known that all the participants in the brawl “after the inspection” were fired from the authorities. -cite__image» alt=»1″ />Cop is not a Kent traffic cop.
