
MOSCOW, 2 Feb. Russian hockey players from January 31 to February 2 were isolated in the Olympic Village due to positive results of PCR tests on a number of players, the press service of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (FHR) reports. For three days, players, coaches and staff teams were tested. All test results were negative. On February 2, the Russian women's team received admission to training. Earlier, goalkeeper Daria Gredzen, defenders Yulia Smirnova, Anna Shibanova, forwards Polina Luchnikova and Landysh Falyakhova joined the team. Forward Ilona Markova will not take part in the 2022 Olympics due to a positive PCR test passed during the training camp. On February 3, goalkeeper Valeria Merkusheva and defender Maria Batalova will join the team in Beijing. The final application for the tournament will be formed before the match against the Swiss national team, which will take place on February 4. So far, 19 players have been declared for the tournament:
