BEIJING, Feb 3, Anatoly Samokhvalov. The current Russian and European figure skating champion Kamila Valieva performed a pure triple Axel at the Thursday morning workout at the 2022 Olympics. On Thursday morning, Russian figure skaters held their second training session at the Beijing Olympics, skating short programs. Valieva performed a triple Axel to the music of the program in its pure form, after which the cascades of triple flip — triple toe loop and triple lutz — triple toe loop did just as well.
