The team figure skating competition at the Olympics started on Friday. The short program in men's singles was the first discipline. Kondratyuk received 95.81 points for a rental with two quadruple jumps and a triple axel. The American Nathan Chen was the first — 111.71 points, the second place was taken by the Japanese Sema Uno — 105.46. The US team took the lead in the team tournament after the first type of competition, gaining 10 points. The Japanese team is second with 9. The Russians are third with 8.
