Single skater Mark Kondratyuk, dance duo Victoria Sinitsina/Nikita Katsalapov and sports couple Anastasia Mishina/Alexander Gallyamov will represent the Russian national team on the first competitive day of the team figure skating tournament at the Beijing Olympics, the Russian Figure Skating Federation reported. The athlete who will represent the team in the short program in women's singles will be named on February 5. The figure skating team tournament at the Beijing Olympics starts on Friday. On this day, men and sports couples will perform short programs, and representatives of ice dancing will perform a rhythmic dance. On Sunday, women will present a short program, men — free. On Monday, free programs will be held in ice dancing, pair skating and women's single skating. The winners of the competition will be determined on the same day. Kondratyuk is the champion of Russia and Europe. Sinitsina and Katsalapov are world and European champions. Mishina and Gallyamov are world record holders in all types of programs, champions of Russia, world and European champions.
