Over the past week, Macron has spoken twice with the presidents of Ukraine and Russia. In the first conversation, the parties agreed on further common steps to maintain stability and strengthen financial and economic cooperation. And in the second, Macron and Putin agreed on the «need for de-escalation» and the continuation of the «dialogue», in particular, they discussed Ukraine, NATO and «security guarantees».
