Archive photoMOSCOW, Feb. 5 An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred in the northeast of Afghanistan near the border with Tajikistan, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC). The tremors were recorded at 04.16 UTC ( 07.16 Moscow time). The epicenter was located 205 kilometers east of the city of Kunduz. The source lay at a depth of 209 kilometers, seismologists point out. There was no information about possible casualties and destruction.
