The dollar/hryvnia exchange rate has significantly decreased in all segments of the foreign exchange market by 2.0-2.5%.< /strong>
During the coming week, the dollar is expected to depreciate against the hryvnia. The dollar on the interbank market can be traded in a week for about UAH 27.6, and the cash dollar in banks can be traded for about UAH 27.5/27.7, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
As the analyst noted, over the past week the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia has significantly decreased in all segments of the foreign exchange market by 2.0-2.5%.
So, from Friday to Friday, the official US dollar exchange rate, set by the NBU, decreased from UAH 28.99 to UAH 28.27 (-2.5%). Demand/supply of the dollar on the interbank market, according to the company «UkrDealing», during the same time decreased from UAH 28.68/28.70 to UAH 28.11/28.13 (-2.0%). The average cash dollar buying/selling rates in banks decreased over the week from UAH 28.59/28.89 to UAH 28.02/28.26 (-2.0%/-2.2%).
At the same time, the spread between the average sale and the average purchase decreased from 1.0% to 0.8% due to a faster depreciation of the sale rate compared to the purchase.
According to the bankers' forecast, the dollar exchange rate in 2022 is expected to corridor 26-28 hryvnia. Bank analysts take into account various factors that affect the foreign exchange market.
