BEJING, Feb 6 Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva wins first place in short program team tournament of the Olympic Games in Beijing. The team competition of figure skaters at the Olympics started on Friday. The short program in women's singles was the first discipline on the second day of the tournament. 15-year-old Valieva received 90.18 points for the short program. The second result was shown by Japanese Wakaba Higuchi — 74.73 points, the third place was taken by Canadian Madeleine Skizas — 69.60. Karen Chen, representing the US team leading after the first day, became fifth — 65.20. The Russian team became the leader of the team tournament after the first programs in all disciplines, scoring 36 points. Canada (24) and China (22).
