Judicial precinct No. 4 of the Oktyabrsky district of Murmansk fined the ex-Minister of Education and Science of the region Olga Dzyuba for 100 thousand rubles because of the publication of a database of schoolchildren «prone to misconduct». Politician Violetta Grudina drew attention to last year's court decision.
In May 2021, on the day of the Kazan gymnasium— Dziuba issued an order in which she demanded that data be entered into the online table about students and graduates «prone to misconduct» and «showing unmotivated aggression.»
“For many, because of this, I am now a terrorist.” Children and adults about the publication of the list of Murmansk schoolchildren «prone to misbehavior»
The order contained a direct link to the table, access to it was open. The table contained the names of teenagers, their parents, places of study and pages in social networks. Among the negative characteristics of teenagers were “suicidal behavior”, “participant in a rally in support of Navalny”, and also “freedom-loving, shows a clear desire to get rid of borders.”
After the photo of the order was posted on social networks, the file corrections began to be made that were not related to the topic, and soon all the data of teenagers disappeared from the document. Parents and schoolchildren who ended up in the base told Mediazone about their concern about possible problems with their studies.
Dzyuba was assigned the minimum fine provided for officials for violations when working with personal data (part 8 of article 13.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses ). Roskomnadzor drew up a protocol for her on September 14, 2021, and a week later Dzyuba was dismissed of her own free will. She headed the ministry for less than a year.
