Beijing, February 7 The Russian team takes second place in the team medal standings of the winter Olympic Games in Beijing. On Monday, Russians Mark Kondratyuk (men's single skating), Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov (pair skating), Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov (ice dancing) and Kamila Valieva (women's single skating) won the team figure skating tournament Irma Makhinya, Danil Sadreev, Irina Avvakumova and Yevgeny Klimov won silver in the mixed ski jumping competition. The Russian team won seven medals in total: two gold, three silver and two bronze. The team from Sweden is the leader in the medal standings (three gold medals), the team of the Netherlands is in third place (two golds, two silvers, one bronze). In terms of the total number of medals at the Olympics, the Russians are the first.
