Many Ukrainians note that the amounts in their payments are overstated, despite the fact that customers submit meter readings on time. About what to do in such cases, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Commander-in-Chief.
Oblgaz issues invoices, but receives funds only for the delivery of blue fuel. The supplier of blue fuel receives payment for gas as a commodity.
“Oblgases ignore the meter readings submitted by households in a timely manner. At the same time, other indicators are set for consumers — much higher,” the message says.
As a result, the National Commission on Energy and Utilities (NKREKU) appointed unscheduled inspections of 29 regional gas companies: Vinnitsagaz; «Volyngaz»; «Godyachgaz»; «Dneprogaz»; «Dnepropetrovskgas»; «Donetskoblgaz»; «Zhytomyrgaz»; «Zaporozhgaz»; «Ivano-Frankovskgas»; «Kievgaz»; «Kievoblgaz»; «Kirovogradgaz»; «Kremenchuggaz»; «Krivorozhgaz»; «Lubnigaz»; «Lvovgaz»; «Mariupolgaz»; «Nikolaevgaz»; «Odessagaz»; «Poltavagaz»; «Rovnogaz»; «Sumygaz»; «Kharkovgaz»; «Zakarpatgaz»; «Kharkovgorgaz»; «Khersongaz»; «Khmelnitskgaz»; «Cherkasygaz»; Chernihivgaz.
What to do if the regional gas company forces you to overpay:
- When the payment for gas has arrived, you need to check whether the indicated volume of gas consumption in the payments corresponds to the figure which you transferred to the oblgas.
- If the amounts are different, you need to resend the meter readings, and also contact the company with a request to recalculate.
- If the oblgas refuses to recalculate, the consumer you can check the meter reading.
In addition, you can file a complaint with the NEURC (it can be filed orally by calling 380 (44) 204-48-94, 204-70-27 ).
