BEJING, Feb 8 Russian snowboarder Vic Wild managed to reach the semi-finals in the parallel giant slalom at the Beijing Olympics. In the quarterfinals, Wild beat the leader of the South Korean qualifying Lee Sang-ho, beating him by 0.01 seconds. In the round of 16, Wild defeated compatriot Dmitry Loginov. Wild, 35, is a two-time Sochi Olympic winner. Semi-final and medal runs in this discipline will take place later on Tuesday. In the women's competition, the Russians failed to reach the 1/4 finals, in the men's Wild is the last representative of Russia.
