The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow arrested female activist Daria Serenko for 15 days for posting a red exclamation mark on Instagram under an article about displaying prohibited symbols (Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The reason for initiating an administrative case was the publication on the activist's Instagram with the symbols of «Smart Voting» on September 16 last year. Pavel Chikov, head of the Agora human rights group, wrote that these symbols were not recognized as extremist, and there are at least two well-known court decisions in Krasnoyarsk and Voronezh, where such cases were dismissed for lack of corpus delicti.
