BEIJING, Feb 9 Czech Vendula Gopyakova was unable to leave the track on her own after a fall during the snowboard cross competition at the Beijing Olympics. Gopyakova fell in the seventh run of the 1/8 finals after contact with Russian Christina Paul. She was assisted for several minutes right on the track, after which she was taken away on a stretcher. Paul did not reach the 1/4 finals. Alexandra Parshina was the only Russian woman to make it there.
