BEJING, Feb 9. Russian Semyon Yelistratov won bronze in the 1500 meters at the Olympic Games in Beijing.
South Korean Hwang Dae Hong won the distance in 2 minutes 9.219 seconds. Silver went to Canadian Steven Dubois (+0.035). Yelistratov lost 0.048 seconds to the winner.
Yelistratov is 31 years old, he is the Olympic champion of Sochi in the relay and the bronze medalist of the Games at this distance. He also has a victory at the World Championships in Moscow (2015) at this distance and 14 gold medals at the European Championships.
