Prices in Ukraine over the year on the products needed for cooking borscht increased by more than 30%. Therefore, a portion for four people will now cost almost 90 hryvnia, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to channel 24.
Which ingredients have risen in price the most
Over the year, all the ingredients for making borscht, according to the traditional recipe, have changed in price. Some grew only by about 5%, for example, potatoes, while cabbage rose by more than 284%.
How prices have changed over the year
- Cabbage 284.4% and now you will have to pay for 500 grams 20.95 hryvnia against 5.45 hryvnia before.
- Carrot — by 131.38%, 150 grams cost 7.01 hryvnia, and now it more than 16 hryvnia.
- Beets< /strong> — by 121.72%, 400 grams used to be bought for 7.69, and now you have to pay 17.05 hryvnia.
- Pork — by 12.03%. It is worth noting that the price of 400 grams of meat has risen in price by only 12.49 hryvnia, was at the level of 103.79 hryvnia, and now it costs 116.28 hryvnia.
- Sour cream — by 8.78%, 100 grams used to cost 26.2 hryvnia, and now — 28.5 hryvnia .
