The second place was taken by the Norwegian Alexander Omodt Kilde (+0.59 seconds), the bronze medalist was the Canadian James Crawford (+0.68). At the 1988 Olympics, Hubert Strolz, the father of Johannes Strolz, won in combination. This is the first time in the history of the Winter Olympics that a father and son have won in the same discipline. The Beijing Olympics will end on February 20th.
