MOSCOW, Feb. 10 Dutch speed skater Irene Schouten becomes Olympic champion at 5000m meters at the Beijing Games. Schouten set a new Olympic record by running the distance in 6 minutes 43.51 seconds. Second place went to Canada's Isabelle Veideman, 4.67 seconds back, third to Czech Martina Sablikova (+6.58). Russian Natalya Voronina showed the 6th result (+13.48).
