Russian State Duma BuildingMOSCOW, Feb 11Recent statements by Western politicians expressing concerns about a possible escalation in Ukraine and a new statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry may indicate the preparation of a major fake with subsequent provocations, Adalbi Shkhagoshev, member of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, told RIA Novosti. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said, that the ministry sent a request to Russia demanding detailed clarifications regarding military activities near the borders of Ukraine and in Crimea. According to him, the Russian Federation has 48 hours to provide the required information.A source at the Foreign Ministry called Ukraine's request for military activities unfounded. Speaking about Kuleba's words, the politician noted that all Russian weapons «on our borders, which they are talking about, are fully controlled by the Russian Ministry of Defense, and there will not and cannot be any accidental shot — unlike the other sides». In addition, the parliamentarian recalled the statements of US President Joe Biden, who had previously called on Americans to immediately leave Ukraine, and noted that a major fake related to provocations in Ukraine may be being prepared. «It looks like another major fake is being formed related to the fact that some serious provocation is being prepared now. It is quite possible that this is all initiated by nationalist groups,» Shkhagoshev stressed. The politician expressed concern about the activities of nationalist groups, according to him, they receive weapons «collected by Ukraine from around the world» . This leads to an increase in the chances of provocations in the near future and aggravates the situation in the region, he stated. that the Ukrainian security forces are pulling heavy equipment to the line of contact and hatching plans for the military conquest of Donbass. Moscow claims that the West is preparing a provocation in Donbass to blame Russia for everything. NATO countries, led by the United States, supply weapons to Ukraine and train its military, which directly violates the Minsk agreements and negatively affects the settlement in Donbass. In addition to the Americans, Great Britain, Canada, France, Poland, Turkey, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, and Estonia participate in deliveries totaling billions of dollars.
