Beijing, Feb 11 Doping test of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva taken on 25 December, tested positive for trimetazidine, her suspension was lifted on February 9, the International Testing Agency (ITA) said in a release. The 15-year-old athlete competed in the Beijing Olympic team tournament as part of the gold medal-winning Russian team. The awards ceremony was postponed first from Monday to Tuesday, and then to an indefinite time. The IOC has been advised that a situation has arisen that requires legal consultation with the International Skating Union (ISU). Later, Insidethegames wrote that the delay was related to Valieva's doping test.
